Angels Do Not Have Wings
Angels don’t have wings – nowhere in the Bible are angels depicted with wings.
Before you react, hear this: Cherubim and seraphim aren’t angels, and the women with stork wings weren’t either. Some common beliefs need to be questioned because they often come from indoctrination, keeping us uncritical.

Angels With Wings Is Hollywood Programming
The traditional image of angels is that they have wings. As a result, hardly anybody questions it. However, whatever you think you know about angels, think again.
Genesis 18: Angels with NO wings

The Difference Between Angels And Cherubim
Why Do I Need To Know This?
When you realise that spirit beings, like angels, can appear in human form, it’s possible other spiritual beings can do the same. Consequently, the “Sons of God” in Genesis 6:1-4 likely weren’t kings or mighty men but spirit beings who took human form to mate with women.

Conclusion
In conclusion, understanding that (1) angels have no wings, (2) can appear in human form, and (3) are messengers by role, opens the door to consider that Genesis 6:1-5 involved spirit beings, not humans. The “sons of God” in this passage weren’t angels but spirit beings. Finally, if angels could manifest as humans elsewhere in the Bible, so could the spirits in Genesis 6:1-5.
